Is it time to run yet?

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a lion or gazelle - when the sun comes up, you’d better be running.

4.3 Miles Around Long Pond

Todays run was a rough one. I was out running for a total of 44 minutes, but for the last two miles, I was struggling to keep an easy pace. Here are the splits for the run 8:55, 9:30, 11:37, 10:57. The heat was high at 77F, but the humidity was oppressive at 89%RH.
