Is it time to run yet?

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a lion or gazelle - when the sun comes up, you’d better be running.

12 miles yesterday

I got out in some warm weather and ran 11 to 12.  The first 6.5 were okay, the final 5-6 not so much.  The last 3 I ran/walked.  It might have been the heat or the lack of fuel, but I just plain ran out gas and that made everything else (pain, etc) all that much worse.  The huge blister on the inside of my big-toe didn't help.  The second toe won the blister match!  I might be able to do a 15k on Sunday.. if the boss lets me out of her sight on Mother's day!  Going to head out for a quick run in the woods when the kidos go to bed.
