Is it time to run yet?

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a lion or gazelle - when the sun comes up, you’d better be running.

Easy Lap Around the Pond

Today, I took a coworker with me for a run around the pond. He had run it once before, but took a couple of wrong turns and didn't enjoy it. Today was a different story. To bad he couldn't give me some of his lung capacity in trade.
Here are the splits: 4.2 miles in 43:28 9:22, 10:05, 10:44, 10:34.
p.s. I think that I read somewhere that you should be able to talk while you are running. I can say things, but talking is not what I would call it. Maybe next week.

  1. I can talk when I jog. I think it's how you define run.
