Is it time to run yet?

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a lion or gazelle - when the sun comes up, you’d better be running.

Power Yoga

Power Yoga vs Gentle Yoga

The purpose of power yoga is to emphasize strength.  This is done as follows:
1. When transitioning from pose to pose (Warrior 1 to Warrior 2, for example) you do an up-dog, followed by a low push-up, then cobra, followed by down dog.
2. Rather than move through each pose once, some poses (chair for example) is done multiple times.
3. Another purpose is to increase body heat.

Like gentle Yoga, emphasis is placed on diaphragmatic breathing through the nose and movement corresponds to breath.

Basically, it's like yoga, but you get sweaty because it is a workout.
